1. Introduction
Welcome to the Tappyon Partner Program! These Partner Terms & Conditions ("Partner Terms") govern your use of the Tappyon platform as a service provider. By registering as a partner, you agree to comply with these terms, our Partner Code of Conduct, and all applicable laws.
2. Definitions
- Partner: Independent service professional registered on Tappyon
- Platform: Tappyon mobile application and partner portal
- Customer/User: Individual who books services through Tappyon
- Booking: Service request assigned to a partner
- Commission: Platform fee charged by Tappyon per booking
- Subscription: Monthly or annual partner membership plan
3. Partner Eligibility
To become a Tappyon partner, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of India with valid proof of identity
- Possess necessary skills and qualifications for your service category
- Have valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License)
- Provide proof of address and bank account details
- Have a smartphone with internet connectivity
- Complete partner verification and background check
- Have no criminal record related to fraud, theft, or violence
4. Registration Process
- Application: Submit partner registration form with documents
- Verification: Tappyon verifies your identity and credentials (2-5 business days)
- Training: Complete mandatory onboarding and app training
- Approval: Receive partner approval and access to partner app
- Activation: Choose subscription plan and start accepting bookings
5. Independent Contractor Relationship
Critical Clarification: You are an independent contractor, NOT an employee of Tappyon. This means:
- You are NOT entitled to employee benefits (PF, ESI, medical insurance)
- You control your work schedule and methods
- You are responsible for your own taxes
- Tappyon does NOT provide tools, equipment, or materials
- No employer-employee relationship exists
- You bear all business risks and liabilities
6. Service Responsibilities
As a Tappyon partner, you are solely responsible for:
6.1 Service Delivery
- Providing services as per booking description
- Arriving on time at customer location
- Using appropriate tools and quality materials
- Completing work to professional standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness
6.2 Customer Interaction
- Professional and courteous behavior at all times
- Respecting customer privacy and property
- Clear communication about service progress
- Handling customer concerns promptly
- Following our Partner Code of Conduct
6.3 Safety & Hygiene
- Maintaining personal hygiene and professional appearance
- Following safety protocols and wearing protective gear
- Ensuring safe handling of tools and chemicals
- Complying with COVID-19 or health guidelines
7. Booking Management
7.1 Accepting Bookings
- You will receive booking notifications via partner app
- Accept or decline within 5 minutes
- Excessive rejections may affect your rating
- Once accepted, you must fulfill the booking
7.2 Cancellations
- Partner-initiated cancellations are discouraged
- Valid reasons: medical emergency, vehicle breakdown, family emergency
- Notify customer and Tappyon immediately
- Excessive cancellations may lead to account suspension
- Penalties may apply for last-minute cancellations
7.3 No-Shows
Failing to show up for accepted bookings without valid reason will result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Monetary penalty
- Customer refund at your expense
- Negative impact on ratings
8. Pricing and Payments
8.1 Service Pricing
- Tappyon sets standard pricing for all services
- Partners cannot demand additional payment from customers
- Price adjustments (if needed) must be done through the app
- Surge pricing may apply during high-demand periods
8.2 Partner Earnings
- You receive booking amount minus Tappyon commission
- Earnings are deposited to your bank account weekly
- Payment cycle: Monday to Sunday (deposited next Friday)
- Minimum withdrawal threshold: ₹500
- Payment details visible in partner dashboard
8.3 Commission Structure
Tappyon charges a platform commission on each booking:
- Standard Plan: 15-20% commission per booking
- Premium Plan: 10-15% commission + monthly subscription
- Enterprise Plan: 5-10% commission + annual subscription
Commission rates may vary by service category and location.
8.4 Subscription Plans (Optional)
- Free Plan: ₹0/month, higher commission, limited bookings
- Premium Plan: ₹999/month, reduced commission, priority bookings
- Enterprise Plan: ₹9,999/year, lowest commission, premium features
9. Partner Obligations
You agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain valid licenses, permits, and certifications
- Keep your profile information accurate and up-to-date
- Respond to customer inquiries within app
- Not solicit customers for off-platform bookings
- Not share customer personal information
- Not engage in fraudulent or unethical practices
- Pay applicable taxes on your earnings
- Maintain insurance coverage (recommended)
10. Prohibited Conduct
Partners are strictly prohibited from:
- Asking customers to book services outside Tappyon
- Collecting cash payments without app authorization
- Requesting additional payments beyond booking amount
- Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against customers
- Using abusive language or inappropriate behavior
- Damaging customer property
- Misusing customer data or contact information
- Creating fake accounts or manipulating ratings
- Subcontracting work to unverified individuals
- Working under influence of alcohol or drugs
11. QR Code and Booking Misuse
Zero Tolerance: Misuse of Tappyon's QR codes, booking links, or payment systems is strictly prohibited. This includes:
- Sharing your QR code with non-customers to generate fake bookings
- Creating fraudulent bookings for commission
- Manipulating payment systems
- Using promotional codes unethically
Penalty: Immediate termination and legal action
12. Ratings and Reviews
- Customers can rate and review your service (1-5 stars)
- Maintain minimum 4.0 average rating to remain active
- Poor ratings may result in warnings or account suspension
- You can respond to customer reviews professionally
- Fake reviews or rating manipulation is prohibited
13. Data and Privacy
- You will access customer information (name, phone, address) for bookings only
- This data must be used solely for service delivery
- Do NOT store, share, or misuse customer data
- Comply with Tappyon's Privacy Policy and data protection laws
- Report any data breaches immediately
14. Intellectual Property
- Tappyon name, logo, and branding remain our exclusive property
- You may use Tappyon branding only as authorized
- Do not create misleading or unauthorized marketing materials
- Do not use Tappyon trademarks for personal gain
15. Insurance and Liability
15.1 Partner Liability
You are solely responsible for:
- Any damage to customer property during service
- Injuries caused by your negligence
- Loss or theft of customer belongings
- Poor workmanship or service defects
- Any legal claims arising from your actions
15.2 Insurance (Recommended)
We strongly recommend partners maintain:
- Professional liability insurance
- Public liability insurance
- Personal accident insurance
15.3 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tappyon harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your service delivery or conduct.
16. Termination
16.1 By Partner
You may terminate partnership by:
- Providing 15 days written notice
- Completing all pending bookings
- Settling outstanding dues
16.2 By Tappyon
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for:
- Violation of these Partner Terms
- Breach of Partner Code of Conduct
- Fraudulent activities or misconduct
- Poor performance or consistent low ratings
- Customer complaints or safety concerns
- Criminal activities
- Non-payment of subscription fees
16.3 Effect of Termination
- Access to partner app will be revoked
- Pending earnings will be settled within 30 days
- You must return any Tappyon property
- Confidentiality obligations continue
17. Legal Compliance
Partners must comply with:
- Income Tax Act and GST regulations
- Local municipal laws and trade licenses
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Contract Labour Act (if hiring assistants)
- Safety and environmental regulations
18. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved through:
- Internal Resolution: Contact partner support at info@tappyon.com
- Mediation: Mutual discussion within 15 days
- Arbitration: Binding arbitration under Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
